AQ Outdoors Beginner Kayak Course
July 17th to 19th.
(2.5 days of professional moving water kayak instruction)
Based on the successful reviews of last years Advanced Kayaking Course we are again partnering with AQ Outdoors Calgary to provide an INTRODUCTION TO WHITEWATER KAYAKING course for newbies this year!
See the AQ Outdoors webpage here for more information/a description of the course Goals and Outcomes. Because this is a specialized remote program for AQ Outdoors - registration will run through Smithers Whitewater Club.

SWC Intro to Kayaking Pool Sessions
Apr 26th, May 3rd, May 10th.
7-9pm
(arrive at 630pm for a boat rinse/introductions)
If you are new-new to kayaking we recommend coming to all 3 course nights, or at least the first April 26th for basic intro to kayaks.
Sign up through the Bulkley Valley Regional Pool by contacting the front desk and requesting to register for the Introduction to Kayaking Program dates.

Boats, paddles, and skirts are available for rolling sessions loan free of charge - Email paddlebv@gmail.com to let us know if you will need gear or are interested in receiving introductory kayaking instruction.
